I had two of these that I got in a lot of cars but the condition was much worse, I'm with you on the color but the condition is pretty good for its age. Seems like most of these are trashed.

Put it in the freezer and see if it still changes.
I've got this one and a few others that can still change.

 

I did. It was really light in places when I got it. I put it in the freezer and it turned a hot pink color.
