I have seen some plastic tubes to seal up 1/10 pan car tire sets. Who makes them? I haven't been able to find any.

Thanks,

Man $4 a tube that only holds four rear tires can get expensive. For $3 a box, Lock&Lock storage containers work well. O-ring sealed for freshness, and most car haulers boxs can hold six. Plus the tires lay on the rims preventing flat spots.

The boxes I use, hold 8 rears or 16 fronts, or 16 Sedan tires(24mm) and/or any combination of 2.25" tires. Taller tires could be used if a mixed with smaller tires.

My wife bought me a few from one of those catalog outfits
that send you one every 3rd day...
They are made to store crackers, and are 2-3/4 X 2-3/4 X 9-1/2.
The are square, not round, so you can stack them, lay them flat or whatever
and they don't roll around. Hold 4 rears, or 8 fronts (obviously other combos).
She said they were like 2-3 bucks...
Might be able to get them at a Kitchen etc. type store, too...

Mits,

That's about what I go through this time of year...I have a pile of 15-18 of them right now...and sent Jeff a box of about 18 a short time back.

Now if Jeff could do a really cool lablel for those, with a place to mark what tire compound and brand is in each, with replacement labels for that section...hmmmm

We still offer our 'Tire Tubes.'

They are available in two sizes, small for foams or large for rubber tires. Have an attached, snap on lid. Each tube holds one set of (4) tires.

Call the shop M-F, 9-5 EST for more details-

I used tennis ball tubes before and they fit real nice in the Trinity storage boxes, however I found that tubes can be very inconvenient for several reasons. The tires often get stuck the wrong way in the tubes and you need to dump the all the tires out to get the one you want.

When I saw the Lock & Lock containers that Trailranger was using I went right out to Walmart and bought a bunch of them ($3 each). Look for the 6.8 cup containers. They work perfect for me. They stack real nice in the Trinity boxes and you pop the top off and can see and pick the tire your looking for without dumping the whole thing.

I did the same thing! Thanks Trailranger for the heads up.
