Good find! I bought the Moebius one ten years ago started the Blood and chrome version but stalled out. You've given me impedance to get going (I hope).

 

I've got that one in storage waiting to be built, but it didn't come with crew figures though. Where can one find them??

 

Mine were from some real space model in 32 scale. There are some sources who print figures.

Yep, both the Viper and Raider had them. The Viper had one that fired from the nose and the Raider had 2 that fired from the engine intakes at the fromt.

 

I had built that one back then. It was a pretty sturdy kit. The Colonial Viper was also available and I built that one too.

 

If I remember the old Monogram Viper also had a torpedo which could be launched by a rubber band as well.

 

Yep, it fired through the round hole in the nose part. I believe the first run of the kits were the only ones that had the launchers, after that they were deleted due to safety concerns. I can attest that they could be dangerous, especially when your bratty cousin files the blunt point of the missile into a real point and it sticks about a quarter inch into your leg when fired point blank at you!
