Is there hope for the Renwal Revivals?

When I last went to NNL East two years ago, I asked representatives of
Atlantis Models if they had the Renwal Revival molds. They said they
didn't think they did. I don't think they had examined all the molds they
had at that point, so I've been wondering if perhaps the Revivals had
been found. Has anyone heard anything? Thanks.

Never heard of Renwal Revivals but if it's just their model cars then maybe, because about 10-15 years ago revell had rereleased and old Renwal submarine kit which means they had some or the Renwal molds maybe eve all of them.

Renwal's Revivals were a series of seven "updated" versions of classic car makes issued in the mid-1960s. They were designed by Chrysler stylist Virgil Exner and his son Virgil Jr. Revell acquired Renwal's kit tooling when the latter company went out of business, but the molds have probably been lost or destroyed in the decades since.
