I seen on epay that someone ahd a JL with a factory error. The error was that the car was packaged on its side instead of its wheels. It seems to me anyone with some extra time could do this. I bought one of my cars packaged like this, so could I sell it and pay off my house? J/K

I know a good quick fix. Open it up and "viola". No more error. I do have a couple cars packed on wrong card but no... you need to make your house payment.

Why does every "variation" or "error" automatically come under suspicion? I've got a few cars packaged just like that, from the factory. In fact, a couple of years back, in the MONC series, I found three Dusters all packaged the same way! Doesn't matter much, JL collectors don't go nuts for these the way HW folks do. But it does happen!

Because there are more and more scammers coming out each day with the full intent of ripping people off.. open, change, reseal and sell and screw the person who buys it.

As to the sideways and upside down cars... not an error, not a variation, just a car that flipped sometime in the process... not worth a penny more and worth less if you want to keep them in the package. I know they happen and anybody who has been collecting JL cars for more than 5 years has probably seen 30 cars like that.

No jhoop that wasnt the one I saw. I was just woundering if it realy made any difference in "collector" price. It seems if it did there would be alot of chance for scammers. either way I like my GTO and will keep it. even if I gant see its roof.
