Pretty cool! Having once owned a 1:1 Beretta (an '89 GT), I'm always looking for Berettas in scale.

 

Very interesting! I collect drag race diecasts, and have never seen a Pro Stock Beretta before . . . the closest I've come is the Nitro Machines Pro Mod Beretta. But this one loses style points because of its stock wheelbase . . . the 1:1 versions all had extended wheelbase to accommodate the V-8 RWD conversion.

This model was made by Zee Toy/ Zylmex. The P model # suggests it was in the Pacesetters Series. It was only available for a short time and I obtained mine from a toy showw dealer about 20 years ago, as I recall. The only small scale Beretta model I ever found!

 

Looks very cool. I think hot wheels made a Beretta. I will have to look and see. I seem to remember it being bright green and had some huge slicks you could put on the rear wheels, similar to a hi raker.

 

Does anyone know how much the Pro Stock Beretta's were lengthened to accommodate the V8?

It looks like the Pro Stock Beretta is lengthened behind the fender wheel opening.

 

Here is the Hot Wheels that I think is a Chevy Beretta. Any confirmation??

 

It is supposed to have some big tires that slide on the rear but those were lost long ago!

 

Having once owned an '89 Beretta GT (as I said back in April!), I can say that, yes, this IS supposed to be a Beretta. It's proportions are off in some places and of course the funny-looking engine and changable stace take away from it to me. Still, I'd jump on one in a second if I could ever find one - I can't find a single Beretta in small scale.

 

Ertl has 1:25 scale plastic promo's that were sold at dealerships in an array of colors. I got the 1991 LTZ in Burgundy from an antique shop from over a decade ago along with 1992 GEO Storm GSi in Cobalt Blue.
