I didnt watch the entire video, but he plans a tear down and fix of some issues (not as extensive as your restoration sounds) but should address disassembly and reassembly. :cheers2:

I recently found the Marx Big Bruiser wrecker at a toy show. It is in very good condition (even has the mirrors and the wipers) as well as the pickup truck.
Does anyone know where to find directions to take it apart? It's in bad need of a cleaning and I need to look at the wiring so I can get it running again.
I had the Big Bruiser when I was a kid -- I think it was Christmas 1962 and it was a favorite. I paid $50 for this and consider that a pretty good price. I'd just like to make it a bit more displayable.

Thanks. Had to get the Gray frame paint mixed it’s just a little different than what you can buy now. Restored battery box to new. Guess the old batteries leaked in most of them

 

Did you take any before photos? We also like to see original models (or what you started with before the restoration.) 🤙

 

before Had to find and purchase missing parts and a battery box that was restorable new decals and fix caved roof where they all sunk in bleached body back white replated chrome and tons of detail restore From rust and age
