First time I did any work on an Xterra I was amazed at how thoroughly waterproofed and sealed everything was. Rubber seal between dist and cap, etc. Even the hood hinges had foamed flanges that sealed against the firewall when closed.

Good structure too. If I had to take a tumble down something steep, I think this is what I'd prefer to be strapped into.

How close to 1/64 is it ??

XTerras are great rigs, perfect for the field work I do... Disappointed when Hertz replaced them with Rogues. Not the same thing at all, so now I just rent pickups.

You did some great work James.
