5 cars you'd like to see added to the Fresh Cherries line. Here is the next question along those lines.

Name the three additions and or formats you'd like to see Fresh Cherries make to the brand. Here are mine.

1. I'd like to introduce the Mike Groothuis three step approach. Perhaps 20% of the run done in primer format. Two winners here, those who like Chase and variation guys and secondly, customizers who simply unscrew the chassis and paint to their color wants. Another 20% of each run done in candy chrome red paint. On top of that, 5% of the run would also have special red rubber tires. In a nutshell......

60% normal color run
20% in raw primer format
20% in red candy chrome paint
5% random red rubber Fresh Cherries tires on the above. Can you imagine the frenzy for the red tired 20% versions. Oh my!

2. Do away with the 3-D blister inside the plastic tomb especially if you never do a chase version in production. The reason being, my guess is nearly 100% of FC collectors open these up to play with, display , customise etc.

3. Stay away from the pog, token, sticker, beer coaster etc. It didn't bring you to where you are today so there's no need for it in the future. Keep it real!

i would like to see opening hoods and some nice motors.
i also would like to see some nice rims and meat on the rear tires.
and deffanatly get away from the blower on the hood.
what really atracts people to buy cars are.
stance
rims and tires
paint
and working options. or cool add ons such as wheelie bars. headers, you get the idea.
90% of the time if a company can get me to pick up a car off the j-peg i will buy it.
but distrabution to the stores is a must.
as far as card goodies.
well everyone will love figures. gas pumps. jacks. you get the idea where im going. people will buy just for the goodies. but you have to stay in scale

For 1/87th scale FCs, I would say:

Just more colors of the same cars is good 'nuf for me.. Let's keep it simple.

I agree with Gunn on most of the points here. However, I really like the price range that FCs are in right now-$2.50 range. By doing the points above, the price would most likely increase. I really like that I can buy 4 FCs for about $10 dollars now. No other die-cast company can offer this value for a metal base/body with as much detail as they do now. Since all FCs have screws holding together the car, I'd suggest those who want better rims and other details to simply customize the cars themselves. Adding more things to die cast cars only increases the price and squeezes some collectors out of the market.

I do agree with Mark on most of your points. The color variations would be nice and I don't necessarily see this as increasing the price significantly. Overall, I'd like to see FC to continue making oddball cars that no one else would even take a chance on.

Dear All:

I am happy with this series as they are.As been stated,the fact that these are held by screws make them prime for customizing.Just bring more vehicles that no one will bother with,be it as FC or AG. Another little nitpicking: they should have,in my opinion,molded the Ford F-100 1960,not the 1956;many did the latter already,while the former was made only once,as a larger model,by ERTL.

I am with STANMXX, leave well enough alone. I like the line the way its going now and theprice range its in. Just keep adding the oddballs and I'll be happy! Maybe add some 1960's orphans like 1965-69 Corvair, 1965-69 or Rambler American

I would like to see another line named Fresh Oranges or whatever to cater to the 90's-2007 crowd. I would love to see modern Honda Civics and Accords from the current period, of course in HO scale.

Also, I'm with Harry, more colors of existing vehicles is all you need, instead of 2 colors offer 6! Maximize the tooling costs and you get more bang for the buck.
