Wing?

Has anyone tried running a faster open class car 10.5 or 13.5 with just a 1.5" spoiler and no wing? Seems that a 1.5" spoiler should supply a good amount of downforce.

What do you think?

....I have at times, moreso w/ old brushed Mod motors, you can get plenty of downforce, but the side force given by a wing can't be beat if the two run together.

I agree, the side dams create wonderful stability which is really needed for the faster classes.
