Murdockrc--tried to order from your site --would not let me order-need help?????
Philip Harwood
Hi Philip,

I just did a test of our system and everything worked fine. If you continue to have trouble just send me what u need to my e-mail address below and I will send an invoice instead and take care of you that way.

I had other orders come in last night and this morning so that leads me to believe your order may have run into a temporary glitch.

We are working on it.

If you are having this problem, you can e-mail your order to me and I will send out an invoice.

Hopefully we can resolve the problem quickly.

Hi,

Just curious. Is there a picture of a build windtunnel front end. I want to see how it looks like when build and installed? Also do i need to buy the different caster blocks seperatly? It would be for On-road asphalt racing. I am using the old associated strut front end with the 1/10 kingpin and 5 degree casterblock at this moment.

Windtunnel has our front end packaged in several combinations. Long, short or standard king pins, inline or offset axles, Aluminum adjustable castor blocks, Windtunnel Upper hinge pins (best available).
I personally will not run a car without this front end. The new R5 is not durable enough for 1/10th racing, others out there that are machined are not available to everyone and cost a ton for no performance gains.
The Windtunnel Strut front end has a lower center of gravity, castor blocks can be used in 4 different positions for mounting, upper A arms can be moved up and down, lengthen the upper a arm with moving of the castor block and using our long upper turn buckles, Brass and delrin pivot balls are also available. Delrin upper a arms are avilable too.
Here are some links to the front end page.

To answer your question on the on road and/or aspault...........yes this is an excellent option for that use. It is durable and will take some hard hits off walls or other cars

Bill, do you guys have a complete (color-coded) front spring kit for the "Babies" or "Big Babies" (for an R5 <short> kingpin, I imagine - stock R5 oval front end)? The only kits I saw were for five different pairs and not the complete lineup like the side-shock springs.

Ron, that set is only a set of five spring pairs:

>>WT3450 "Big Babies" Five Pair Pkg. [WT3450] $8.75

Five pair package of Windtunnel "Big Babies" narrow diameter inner front springs. These springs will fit inside a standard size 1/10th scale front spring. Package includes one pair of Blue .16, White .18, Red .20, Green .22 & Purple .24<<

Bill, that's a COMPLETE suspension kit - front springs, VCS springs, axles, king pins, shims, and progressive-rate springs.

Thanks, though. I was looking for a complete set of *front springs only* like you have for the side and center springs (like this: http://www.windtunnelracingproducts.com/product_info.php?cPath=42_68&products_id=71 - but for the R5O standard front king pins <the "Babies">.)

"Babies"
http://www.windtunnelracingproducts.com/product_info.php?products_id=149
Five pair package of Windtunnel "Babies" 1/12th scale front springs. Package contains one pair each of Blue .16, White .18, Red .20, Green .22, Purple .24. "Babies" springs are also used as a 1/10th scale front inner spring.

"Big Babies"
http://www.windtunnelracingproducts.com/product_info.php?products_id=160
Five pair package of Windtunnel "Big Babies" narrow diameter inner front springs. These springs will fit inside a standard size 1/10th scale front spring. Package includes one pair of Blue .16, White .18, Red .20, Green .22 & Purple .24

Above would be the only package kits we have that contains only the "Babies" and "Big Babies" springs.

Hope that helps.

Jimmy, that is the set you appearred to be looking for, one set of each color..5 is a complete set..

Perhaps you don't have a clue, what you are looking for, how many sizes do you think there are., These are the "standard" sizes that have been around for years, This ain't something new..

Bill, sorry to step on your thread..

The old Wolfe Springs had more than 5, I'm wondering if that's what Jimmy is referring to...

The "Standard" Wolfe Springs had

Orange 4#
Blue 6#
White 8#
Red 10#
Green 12#
Purple 14#
Black 16#

and the "Wolfe" Progressive set had

Orange 4-6
Blue 6-8
White 8-10
Red 10-12
Green 11-13
Purple 12-14

Bud's use to see basically the same set of progressive I believe (Proabably THE SAME actually)

I think the really soft ones were more 1/12th scale, but I'm sure w/ the light weight of the current cars - there are guys running really soft front springs now. (I know I had/have some Associated 1/12th scale springs that are/were .014s and .016s maybe even one set softer than that...)
