White Rose Collectibles was founded by Ron Slyder of York, Pennsylvania in 1988. The had specially detailed Code 2 type Matchbox toys, particularly sports team versions which, they commissioned Matchbox to produce exclusively for them.

They also commissioned NASCAR cars and trucks

After Mattel took over Matchbox in 1996, the association with White Rose ended in 1998. Thereafter; the diecast models were made under the White Rose Collectibles brand using the same casting tools which had been branded Matchbox before.

In 2001, Fleer aquired the company and relocated it to Mt Laurel, New Jersey. A Motor Max PT Cruiser casting was used for their first release for Major League Baseball. Information about Fleer in the diecast encyclopedia notes that White Rose later made their own diecast models.
