I brought this one back from the dead.

it was mostly completed, but the Ark was damaged by me dunking it's PVC plastic into brake fluid to remove the bad paint I'd done. (Never ever ever do that to PVC)...lol

Thank you guys.
This is a really nice kit. I wrecked it trying to strip off a coat of silver paint I didn't like.(testor diamond dust)

use oven cleaner on this type of plastic. or....

It will look like this!

I personally thought the rocket undercarriage was too toy-like. Pegasus could've done better. But you did a great job.

Thanks, the undercarriage is only a few parts (3)

It needed lots of sanding and even more masking.
I really love the kit, I was cleaning house the other day and saw it hiding buried in some unloved projects. Even if she ain't perfect it's better to finish the build and get her on a shelf.

Thanks guys! I used rustoleum mettalic over white primer. Then two coats of future.
The brake fluid had cracked the hull in spots so I needed a shiny but sandable silver.

it's a two footer, But I really love this ship.

I really love the WWC Ark kit, I just love those old Sci-Fi ships
I wonder if Pegasus Models will be doing more subjects like these.

Would be great if they released a kit of the Mars One ship
from 1951 Flight To Mars;
