I know Marx went out of business in the 1970's. Does anyone know when these pressed steel toys (Tin toys as some people call them) were made?

Thanks in advance.

It's hard to see the Marx logo on the white base.

I think the red truck is missing ladders and something in the bed.

It's easier to see the Marx logo on the red base.

The two together.

if you look beside the marx logo you will see the manufacture date. It will be in roman numerals. They look like after '70 models. Yes they have a Tonka counter part but not the minis as suggested. See this site dedicated to the Tonka version http://www.tonkagasturbine.com . The Marx grill changed before the Tonka version.

See almost identical the cab of this 1968 Marx camper that I have is to the Tonka.
