I have been asked by a few folks to expound on Cool Colletibles line of cars. When I left JL, I asked the folks from RC2 if I could periodically purchase JL cars and run them in limited quanties so the core collector needs will be satisfied. I have come out with 4 cars that are all unique in one way or another.

A Black with Flames 1969 Camaro is an original Mike G. design. This flame pattern has never been done before in the JL line!

A factory Orange '69 Camaro with rare RPO DX1 hood striping. This hood striping has never been done on a JL Camaro.

A BWF 1971 GTO that is the first GTO Zinger promo ever done by JL.

A cool Purple '71 GTO that is the first rebel rod Zinger ever done by JL.

All have die-cast bodies and chassis, real wheels and have serialized numbers on the chassis. Only 1000 was made of each style of vehicle (Mac, have you taken notice for your next book on JL?). There are WL and they will randomly be inserted in the orders. However, I have some set aside as an incentive for people to purchase 12. So, buy 12 and get a FREE WL. 13 cars for the price of 12! The cars are $12.99 each. The cars will be in the beginning of October.

My web-site is going to up tonight at mid-night, so you can check out the car images then. I tried to post the pictures on the board, but I am a computer klutz and lost my previous message (that's why I had Higgprime over to the house to help me get the site ready). Feel free to order as many as you would like. I imagine that I can put Jeff Koch down for a couple o' hundred of each.

Thanks for listening!

For the Record

"Mac, have you taken notice for your next book on JL?" ---JP

Yes...of course. I've seen the cars and they're beautiful. I think you're the first to offer the new Zinger rear wheel. Also, the orange Camaro with the RPO DX1 striping is fantastic. I've never seen that style of graphics before.

Good job!

Doesn't HW's control the name "Cool Collectibles?"

The Camaros sound cool, someone still needs to do a Baldwin Motion Camaro on a JL casting.
The owner of Baldwin Motion still lives out here on Long Island. He apparently knows he has legal rights and royalties due to him if his products are reproduced. I don't think Playing Mantis offered him his number? Perhaps JL's new Corporate ownership will do something for us?

well,,,after seeing the card i see at least 40 of them and i can only figure out the rest,,,,,,,i figure at least 60 more of the white lightnings made for a total of 100,,,,,,that number could be low as no answer means most the time,,,more. still 100 of any JL made that is numbered is a good one!!
