My idea of the COT would be a single car that could be raced in oval, on road and dirt oval. The car would need four wheel independent suspension( for dirt and on road), two wheel drive( for oval classes) and could use a transmission, but I would prefer direct drive. That would make it adaptable to the different types of racing.

It should have a wheel base at least 10.5 inch or less(9.75 minimum). The max width of 8 inches. A max weight of 44 oz. race ready.

A class of two wheel drive cars(4 or 6cell)could be added for on road racing and oval( dirt, carpet etc.). It would able to run 4 and 6 cell in any formation(stick or split). Now you could use your batteries for all types of racing.

well other than the 2wd part we have some great cars out there. There are some killer conversions for touring cars that are being used in all of the venues you mentioned above. I have a FTTC4 with an Extreme conversion and Hyperdrive has a killer corally conversion.
