...with just the van, that is!
Yep, it's the
Return of the R2 Van!!
Been spending a lot of time in the Man Cave & finally got a major step out of the way- clamping the chassis to the body. I went out & bought some ratcheting clamps for this.

Because, hey, let's face it, what if Stan & Neil get stuck or have to make repairs, right?

This is an early shot to test how big the decals are going to be. This test is about 1mm too small. And in case you're wondering, yes, he's orange so it's not R2. This is Kit Fisto's astromech (yet un-named, does anyone know?) that is shown on the toy of his Jedi Starfighter. Building R2 would have been too cliche, plus the orange contrasts nicely with the van's blue,

& this build is all about different materials!
Now it's on to building the parking lot!! And a humongus "Thank you!" goes out to Jeff "MangoMan"!! He got me the parking lot pics last year at WonderFest of the EW's parking lot so I can see the details. Using his shots & Google Earth, I should come up with a pretty good representation!
