Chris, let me just say, with capital letters, TOUCHE!

Everyone, thanks for the compliments. She was a challenge, but Thomas models website was a real help!

We need to find an older thread to necro... :)
Granted! :)

Sounds like it was an interesting build(which is what drew me to resurrect
John P's thread), though like John's thread, without new links reading about
it is a lot like trying to catch your evening TV news via radio during a power
outage. :)

I guess I should always be looking over my shoulder
for hungry thread zombies.

I've always wondered how anyone on the walking dead
is ever taken by surprise by a zombie, even if you don't
see one sneeking up on you, you'd have to be really
"hard of smelling"(as Elaine from Seinfeld would put it)
to not notice one coming. :)

Seriously though, models and threads aren't exactly
tunafish. I've always felt if it's an interesting thread there
is no reason not to resurrect it.

I've considered getting a Voyager model just so I'd have a
complete set of the hero models, but have little idea how
many versions are out there and which one is the best.

I hear you Chuck. Though I was never a huge fan of the design it would be nice if I had at least ONE ship model from Star Trek Voyager. I took a pass on the Kazon torpedo and warship and the Maquis fighter but I wish I'd gotten Voyager. I had it in my hands at my LHS some years back. It was the Revelle version with the better decals. Coudln't bring myself to pull the trigger. Oh well... with all the repops going on I've got my fingers crossed it'll be reissued. I'm not a fan of buying off eBay so I'll just wait and hope.

I wish they made a 2500 scale one that wasn't in resin...
That made me go checkout R2's website. Seems strange that it appears that they, PL or Ertl have never done ANY version of Voyager.

Unless they came out with one during those long periods of time
when I was overwhelmed with real world stuff and too busy to notice.

I seem to recall Revell/Monogram coming out with one.

Was that just a foreign release, or did they somehow have two
domestic licenses at the same time?

Anybody know more?
