i`ve made my own vacforming box and i intend to use my cylinder vacuum for the forming process, i just wanted to know if anybody here has any `homemade` vacforming experience, i have a fan assisted oven, but i dont know what temperature i should have it on to soften the .50mm styrene i will be using, i would be greatful if anyone can help, thanks.

I use .081 styrene. I set the oven at 450 F for about 3 minutes. I like to get 4-5 inches of sag before "slamming." Also, ensure your frame is larger than your table (so the styrene covers the entire table surface.
