At a car show today in Fitchberg Mass was this massivley cool rig.

One of only 49 built by Hess & Isenhardt, it came with a divider window.
Also the rear roof area is different, and had interior up-grades as well.

H&I built the infamous Kennedy X-100 limo, hearses, etc.
The one I saw was a decent servivor, much better than this one.
Cool smaller back window.

[not my pic]
Also at the show was a '55 Imperial Ghia (made in Italy)

Both cars are once in a lifetime sightings in the flesh.

[not my pic]

B, I hope I dinnint miss you there!

Curb Feely deals ....? Don't need no stankin feelers .. No need to parallel park when you arrive with this kind of style.. You park whereever you feel like arriving ...:dude:

Nice topic Lumski...
Other than in pictures, My 57 year-old eyes have never seen a living and breathing 59' Lincoln in any body style ..

The designers from the Big-3 had to be tokin on the same pipe when they created the 59s ... It was the design peak of huge, weirdly excessive, grotesque land yachts .. LOVED EM....

With only 49 made, I would think every survivor, no matter what the condition, could lay claim to a pretty interesting history.

Right, in fact Elvis had one.
I think it was a '60 and sold for over $500,000.

There are some much better pix of one on flicker, but I couldn't get the linx to work.
Seeing this thing in person with the divider and trick back window was realy something to see.

You could realy feel the old-timey fat-cat vibe big time!
