UDC may be aka Uniborn Diecasting Co based in Hong Kong. During the 1980s, they marketed Universal Group's made diecast in packaging titled "Roadster" and "Super Wheels". The castings in this range were identified as 'Made in Hong Kong' on their base plates.

It is unclear if Universal also made the diecasts known with the 'Uniborn' name and 'Made in Hong Kong' information on their base plates or if they were re-issued by Uniborn directly.

In the 1980s, they were offered by Larami as "Road Burners". An obtuse reference to castings with a circled 'U' being issued is made, but no additional information is noted. (?) The reference then notes that Uniborn castings were most likely made by Universal or became its successor. (?) Another reference is made to a Mustang GT casting with the base error of 'Unborn' (sic).

A 3rd brand name is noted as Unimax. It is thought that more than one casting is known with a 'U' accompanied by a smiley face symbol on their plastic base. Here again reference is made to uncertainity if these were also made by Universal or as a successor to Universal.
