Assembly is easy on this model. The tough part is killing these horrid seams! He's been sitting around waiting for me to get some Aves. I finally did and work has begun! (Briefly mentioned in the 1st two vids is the Bandai 1/350 G w/ Larval Mothra)

I will keep that one in mind, thanks Cessna. I was thinking I'd just glue them all on, but clearly dry fits will be needed. I think I will add the spikes after final body paint -keep masking errors down to nil.

To address the flat spots I'd recommend making some texture stamps. I use liquid latex (Mold Builder) and apply several coats on a good area. Once dry I put some Aves on the back for strength and reinforcement. Then you can smear some Aves on the affected area, press in the texture stamp and viola" - instant texture!

I built the smaller version as a commission piece using the aftermarket resin head and train (photos in my photo section). I picked up this big beast last year at WF and can't wait to get started on it.
