A very nice set! I'm glad I was lucky enough to find one on the shelf...I wonder what the production run numbers are?

have no clue on number but i will be opening that black buick later!!
I found the set a looonnnng time ago at a flea market, I think I payed 25. All I know it was a TRU exclusive. All of the TRU six-paks are Sweet IMO.
I was lucky to score the six pack off e**y a few years back for 15 bucks. That GTO is pretty cool!
Probably why I still am unable to find the Cyclone Spoiler in this series. 25 bucks is kinda salty for a non-WL, IMHO.
I paid $18 for the set of 6 and sold all but the cuda . So I got the cuda for free actually. It is one of my favorite pieces.
Went back and looked at my collection and discovered that I was thinking of the wrong set. I picked up the Summer of '69 set six pack for a good price. This Big Blocks set had one of my Grail cars - the 'Cuda:

I won one loose off e--- for a couple bucks, then had trouble with the seller sending it. In the meantime I won a carded edition for about 15 bucks (had to have it though!) The other seller ended up sending the car finally, but I guess he was still mad. It came wrapped in newspaper, so the interior was all inked up :(

Nice pics. I see you take yours the same place I take mine
Ive been watching ebay for that Cuda too. Rarely shows up . And is usually too $$$ . Guess I shoulda bought the sets way back when TRU had them ...
That was one of the very few sets I was never able to find.
It came out around the same time as the summer of 69' set
and the vicious vettes set.

and the monster mustang set.
Ah yes! monster mustangs.Sounds familiar.Looks like I have to dig into a box or two but odds are I've got them packed away.
My new years resolution should be to both completely inventory all of my JL's AND to display as many as possible.

If I start now I might finish by next year.
Don't forget the "Heavy 70's" TRU series. This GTX was the highlight for me from that series:

Heavy 70's I found along with the summer of 69' and the vicious vettes and monster mustangs but no big blocks.
I remember seeing those on the shelf, picked up the set with the cuda, then sold off the extras, many years ago.
