I did this last year...it may not have been a huge success, but it at least laid out a schedule for all of us, so here it is for the 2012-2013 Season:
Tri-State Pan Car Club
Bringing together racers from the Western NY & PA and Northeastern OH area.

The plan here is to fill in the spaces on the calendar between Hooter Tour races with a mix of local "weekly" races and some races outside our area. Hopefully this will bring our fragmented, once-a-month racing community together to become more of a weekly racing group, as well as a, well, club. Let's use this group to plan where we'll all show up on a given Saturday, or to set a date to "invade" some other tracks.

I'll keep an ever-updating schedule here on the first post as we fill it in.

Added the season opener for the gun club to the schedule - September 18

Team 1 Raceway - Falconer, NY - Weekly TOUR Truck Racing
Ron McDonald is working on bringing back weekly pan car racing to Team 1 Raceway. TOUR Truck is gonna be THE class there, and he's hoping to build it up into a solid class the way stock used to be in Jamestown. I know when I started racing there (not that long ago! 2007?) they had down to a C-main almost weekly. Having a solid weekly racing program is way more fun than showing up once in a while and always "just testing" or preparing/practicing for the next big race. He'll have more details as the season gets closer, but he's working on getting some sponsors for prizes and possibly having a paid bounty on the track record to get people excited for racing again. I think I just found a use for my ol' Pro 4.

It is definitely an effort to promote R/C Racing and definitely all facilities in the area that provide us a place to play with our toys.

If any of the area tracks already have a prepared electronic version of a brochure or handout highlighting their facility please PM me for contact info and I will have you email it to me and I can have copies printed for a handout table at this race.

Several of us intend to have cars there that the general public can try their hand at driving/racing an RC car between heats.

Thanks!

There's a good chance I will be in PA the end of September for a Late Model race near Dubois, off I-80. Still have yet to arrange travel so wondering if there happens to be a R/C race I might be able to at least stop by to check out.

Sunday would be the rain date for the big cars, so I serious doubt but a slim chance I might be able to drag my gear. Had to pass up an invite to a big dirt race last month when I did the K&N race there so looking to figure what direction I'm heading, what R/C track is racing on Sunday the 30th? Any place running SK mods?

Got to drive no matter which airport I come in to so Pittsburgh, Akron, Cleveland even the opposite direction towards the Harrisburg could all be options.
