Mint Johnny Lightning 57 chevy

Is any of this stuff old or worth anything. Got it for 1 dollar each.[/QUOTE]

That is a older matchbox 57 chevy. Nice scores for $1 each. Like the older matchbox 57s wish they would come back out with the opening hood.

Actually the VWs are not McDs cars. The purple one was BP #171 and the red one was BP #65. The red one in BP used to fetch about $20 or so.
Yep got about 3 different wheel Variations (Blazckwalls, 5 Spokes, and 7 spokes I think) on the purple one (BP #171) and there is a tampo (Color of blue around the flame) Variation on the red one(BP #65).

Not sure on the 5 spokes on the purple one, but the most common variety was 3 spokes.

the red bug is from 1988 and would sell for around 5$ in that condition maybe even more they go arround 15-25 in the package on<a href=http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-1606754-2202639 target=_top > eBay! </a>
<img src=http://www.awltovhc.com/image-1606754-2202639 width=1 height=1 border=0> i got mine on a bad card for like 16 i think

the purple bug came out a couple diffrent times first in 1990 with 5 spokes
it came out again in a playset in 1992 or 1993 same car just with 7 spokes instead of 5
then it was released again in 1994 or 1995 with the 3 spoke saw blade style wheels

the one worth the most is the 7 spoke one when it comes to them being loose if there packaged then the 5 spoke one on the solid dark blue card that says speed points is worth the most

I don't think it was the 5 spokes, I think it was what are called "basic" wheels in Hot Wheels lingo. They weren't really spokes although there are 5 spots on them that could be described that way. 3 spokes and Saw Blades are different wheels, too, FYI.

nice cars for a dollar each!

if they arent rare ones, you can repaint some.
I was thinking about that. I have an air brush but have never painted cars. Can anyone that has done it give me any tips on how to go about it?
