Don't think this has been done before - However, I am working on a project for another article I am helping a friend compile. Part of that article references the top Manf and their top castings/versions.

I wanted to see what everyone thinks is the top 10, 7, 5 or whatever - I will compile based on response and certainly post here -

AGAIN - simple rules - Must be a specific version and NOT a blanket casting, must be cars released - nothing up-n-coming. In other words not just the 57 nomad but WHICH 57 nomad.

I will start with my top castings:

I alwayts thought that some of the best cars that JL did were the cars the other manufacturers don't touch - the so called odd ball castings that don't play to the young kids. Honestly when I see something, other than the current popular car hanging on the pegs, it makes me smile. I mean, common an 1987 Buick Regal - that's what makes JL popular.

I have to mention the Assassin, from the 1st Speed Racer series, along with some of the other specialty cars, such as the Root Beer Wagon, Boothill Express, Dick Dastardly's Mean Machine, Supercar, etc. It's just neat that somebody makes this stuff.

For real cars, I like the land yachts of the days before emission controls and safety features, like those in American Chrome, Tri-Chevy, Muscle Car USA, and Classic (Chevy, Mustang, Corvette, Camaro, Gold). I guess I haven't really been very specific in narrowing it down, which might explain why I have so many little cars.
