The Time Attaxi was designed by Fraser Campbell and introduced by Hot Wheels in 2016. Campbell's design is based on the Toyota Crown Comfort, but is a customized left hand drive version for Hot Wheels. The Crown Comfort is commonly used for Taxi services in Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore. Campbell's design is modified with an external front mounted oil cooler, a driver's side bullet style racing mirror and a normal mirror on the front passenger side. It also has 2 engine air filters sticking up out of the right side of the hood. And tail fins over the rear deck lid which act like spoilers for high-speed drift action along the way to and from the nearest converted airports runway tracks.

The 2016 First Edition was decorated in the same manner as Hong Kong's Urban Taxis. Which according to the Hong Kong International Airport are colorcoded depending on the area they service. With the red-painted taxis servng Hong Kong's most central and urbanized areas. A well as their local airport.

The casting model also has multiple special features built into it. The right side back door can be slightly opened as it is part of the interior. The engine air filters are made to be a part of the window piece with the density of the plastic coloring used appear to be almost black in this version. Someone has also left their electronic device on the back seat!

The Time Attaxi was featured in Need for Speed: No Limits. A special event which, ran from March 9, 2017 to March 16, 2017. And in 2021s Unleashed video game.

Always feel free to add your casting examples to this thread. 🤙

I've seen this casting lots at my Safeway, but I've never gotten it cause I've always found it super ugly. Reminds me of this pizza van "time shifter"

According to Fandom they are basically sister castings with each other. The Time Shifter being a sedan delivery version of the Crown Comfort built to the Hot Wheels standard.
