Three models I built and painted in the late 50s and early 60s, 1/32 scale in plastic. They were covered in dust and very dirty. Cleaned up pretty well. Real rubber tires with raised letters "Champion". They have weathered pretty well for half a century!!!!!

First car is the 1931 Bowes Seal Fast Special Miller (Louis Schnieder)

Second car is the 1939-1940 Boyle Special Maserati driven by Wilbur Shaw.

Third car is the Fuel Injection Special, driven by the 1953 Indy Winner, Bill Vukovich.

Beauties!
My favorite period is still the 60s - the kind of cars that were in the movie "Grand Prix" before spoilers and air dams and canards and such. I don't think F1 cars have ever been prettier.
