Here's the parameters:

Track;
80 feet (one scale mile)run up.
80 feet measured mile timed via computer.
80 feet deceleration space.
(probably held outdoors) (I.E. Wind is a factor)

Power:
2-12 volt batteries, approx 25.3 volts.
jumpers every 20 feet, or at every track junction.
no external power sources (i.e rocket motors)

Classes:
Many and varied.
among these would be the most popular stock and aftermarket chassis.
and a mod class for "unlimited" runs.

The question:
what is your prediction on how fast, in MPH, these little buggers would cover the measured mile?
T-Jet
stock G3
Storm
T3
Open
R.O.
Purpose built

Is this an idea that could be a new "Travel to" event? Or maybe a mail in event with a webcast?

Any other ideas would be welcome.

Are you sure 80 feet would be a long enough shut down area for some of these??
