Always put the bid down AFTER you look properly. I didn't. Shame... :(

Annoys me now, for the price I could have gotten two nice ones which aren't a repaint...duh!

BTW, that equals about 24 US dollars.

So that's looking good:

Description said "restored condition" so I'm the muppet here. I hope this isn't going to be an ongoing thread. :lol:

I am. It was me going all "wow great" without really looking properly. I guess that happens once and then you know it for next time. :)

Ouch, well now you know. But it's like real car buying on a small scale, so it's a small thing. I wonder why the seller wanted so much for a repaint.

What's the little contraption going on in the door there and in the base? I've never seen that before.

That's right. Imagine me...oh orange red Mustang! oh, decent price, oh, great condition, put the bid in, only 43 minutes to go. And then ten minutes after that...oh hang on, restored condition? Fudge monkey!! :lol:

At least the paint is the correct shade of orange-red! However genuine examples have the patent number added.........
