Purple and Green have recently gotten their own threads, why not orange too? Orange, the other other secondary color, or "colour" if you're outside of the United States as I am.

No rules, try not to post too many duplicates, but, hey, if a car you really like has been posted already but you're really proud of your photography, who am I to rain on your parade?

Is that one orange? I don't have #15 but I have the #16 one, which I thought was the same colour, and I'd call it "yellow", though I've never seen the #15 in person to be able to compare it directly.
Note to self, add to "cars to grab" list:
Orange Torino
Orange Cyclone

Good looking oranges guys!
The #15 and #16 Mustangs are the same shade.
It looks a little yellowy in that pic, but it always struck me as more orange.
Like goldenrod yellow, which could easily pass for a lighter shade of orange in some circles.

I'd call it a mustard yellow. I consider "goldenrod" to be a bit more brown/ochre....

....But I'm not the arbiter of colour definition. It's all a spectrum without firm boundaries, and orange can be especially whimsical and capricious. I think I said it before that it is interesting to see how far some people think the boundaries of a colour can extend.

The Pirelli Jones Mustang is painted in what Ford called Grabber Orange. It's definitely on the yellow side of orange.

And Pontiac had Carousel Red which was on the orange side of red. That color is most common on the 1969 GTO Judge.
All I can say is that I don't think the Vintage Racing Boss Mustangs quite got the colour right, because, in real life, it looks "mustard" to me.
