Well, this was my first venture into taking apart diecast cars and re-building them. I think it came out pretty good and I learned some stuff. (Like engines get hot when grinding on them - I had to flatten the bottom of the engine a bit to make it fit better)

Being a guy that likes to do the same thing, I think it came out great! Very nice job! :thumbsup:

Can't wait to get my hands dirty again.

A couple of tips to detail the engine:
Using the pointed end of a round toothpick, dab a small amount of red paint in the three scoop holes.
Add some brass paint to the blower with a fine brush.
Outline the belt with flat black, again with a toothpick.

Just have to have a steady hand, but I think it adds something extra, especially when these motors sit so tall in the engine bay.

Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see more.
