What are the best or worst eating spots you have encountered? Motels? Roads? Cities?...etc.

Worst road hwy 20 threw mississippi,traffic dallas texas,and worst eats Denny's in fortworth,texas sorry Mike and DC LOL

1. Babe's Chicken in Burleson, Tx.
2. Logans Roadhouse in Indy & Burleson
3. Lone-Star Steakhouse in Anderson, In.
4. We bee smokin bar b que in Kansas....great ribs and lots of fries

Worst eating spot:
1. Perkins on the east side of Indy

Best Motel:
1. Super 8 in Algona, IA....it's priced right race track accross the street
2. Howard Johnson...Burleson TX...high priced but handy

Worst Motel
1. Bel-Aire motel, Noel.Mo.
2 Motel 6 Greenville, SC. cheap and seedy

Cleanest town:
1. Algona, IA.

Most fun place to be:
1. Knoxville, IA during the Nationals

Worst traffic:
1. Going thru Ft. Worth
2. Birmingham , AL.

Worst state to drive thru:
1. Illinois high gas prices and takes forever going north to south
2. Iowa seen one cornfield you've seen them all Hiway 20 goes forever
3. Indiana kinda like Illinois but with cheaper gas

Best state to drive thru:
1. Missouri cheaper gas than Illinois and better roads
2. South Carolina

1. Ohio along I-80
2. Indiana along I-80 buy your gas in Ohio

Worst rest stops:
1. Missouri...they seem to always be under construction

Cheapest gasoline:
1. Flyin'J truck stop...Evansdale, IA
2. Pilot truck stop...Walcott, IA
3. Caseys in Lebanon, Mo.

Most congested area in a small city or town
1. Kingdom City, MO about 8 truckstops in one spot
2. Lake of the Ozarks (Osage Beach, Mo) just a lot of traffic

I have family not far from the Lake(Osage Beach), traffic is not that bad, cause you can't call that a small town, just a tourist trap.

yes, Osage Beach is a tourist trap..we spend 3 or 4 days a year there on vacation...it's pretty hard to get accross hiway 54 on foot...just too much traffic.

i go camping two or three times a year in noel mo where is there a 1/4 scale racetrack around there. I love camping on elk river

Clayton Yonker's track at Noel was one of the most fun tracks I've ever been on. I'm thinking there are a lot of canoe camps along the Elk....it looked like fun.

Larry that rest area is about 8 miles from my house it is unique its a actual SATURN 1-B rocket they just restored it about 2 years ago if you ever get the chance stop buy the NASA air and space museum in huntsville very neat

Hiway 20 across Iowa...flat and no rest stops

Most unique dining experience:

first time I ate at Waffle House

Noel Track

Yes its still there. Clayton would allow a race to happen, it needs some work, lights are gone,No drivers stand.
If someone wanted to put the effort and money to resurect the track ,im sure Clayton would have no problem with it.

The Waffle House at the Millbrook/Prattville exit off I65 has good food and great entertainment...singing waitresses.
