...ummm...so, I was out of degreaser to strip down kits with, and when I saw the familiar purple bottle on the shelf, I grabbed it.

And used it. Did a good job. Then yesterday I noticed the smaller type under the brand name: not "degreaser" but..."concrete cleaner"?? Hey, I'm long since sold on the degreaser, but this stuff is new to me.

So...it did okay on Cappy, but is there any difference I should be aware of? Is this stuff also okay on resin, vinyl, clear plastic? I've got a whole pile of other kits I'm ready to strip down.

What about this: I have a vinyl kit that I want to strip clean, but the lower section is already filled with plaster. Will it eat the plaster?

I would only use the concrete cleaner on a model of The Thing. :)

Post the ingredients and maybe someone with the degreaser can compare. I suspect this is a classic case of "same stuff, different packages" or why a "brayer" for art costs 5X as much as a mini roller for wallpapering.
