I have a 1975 Craftsman snow thrower with a 7hp Tecumseh engine. The original Tecumseh bracket (33109) has ben discontinued. The actual throttle lever is broken off and I'm unsure how the ground wire attaches. I see the throttle lever slides to the far right and makes contact with a spade terminal. The other end of the spade terminal is also a spade terminal that a ground wire must attach to. My question is where does the other end of the ground wire mount? I attached a jumper wire to the terminal and a ground, but the engine kept running. Wouldn't the ignition need to be grounded to shut the engine off?

I'd like to replace the bracket with another with a good throttle lever. Anyone know where I can get one?
