I have a HM100 on a generator. The carb is wore out. Part number for the carb is 640129. I have an all most new carb of of a HM100 on a tiller. The carb part number is 640260. Neither of the IPL's breakdown the carbs, just numbers for new ones.

Any ideas what the difference in the carbs is? will I be OK putting the carb off of the tiller on the generator? All the mounting holes and linkage are the same. Thanks for any advise.

After changing the carb, don't forget to check the voltage output since each carb may be tuned differently and will effect the RPM'S and voltage.Checking with a frequency meter would be even better.

Thanks for the help. I installed the carb, set the speed at 3600 RPM and it seems to work great. It ran my electric drill. Thanks again for the help.
