Hello There

I am new to radio controlled vehicles, but i had a go on a mate's and had to get involved. I bought the Tamir Lunch box but have been told the steering is poor due to the plastic parts. I have been advised to stiffen the shocks using aluminium and upgrading the suspension. To bring it up to a decent standard. Is this a good idea? Where is the best place to get these parts? Thanks in advance.

Yes, it is definitely a good idea. Using metals instead of plastics is undoubtedly the first thing you must do. You can check out eBay or at Monroe. They have a pretty good collection of it to choose from.
I am a professional cheap trucks for sale and auctioneer. If you need old parts, contact me.
