Sebastian Spering Kresge was an American businessman who created two chains of department stores, the S. S. Kresge Company and the Kresge-Newark department store chain. They were renamed the Kmart Corporation in 1977 and evolved into Sears Holdings Corporation as the parent company of both Kmart and Sears.

In the late 1960s (early 1970s), they distributed Lone Star Impy cars as their own line of "Mini Mite Diecast Collectors Series" in card board boxes. This casting range was similiar to the line of Impy castings distributed by Durham Industries in blister cards with boxes.
