Splittin Image II. From the 2002 Sci-Fi Monsters multipack. A metal on plastic, 1994 casting produced in Malaysia. I was really attracted to this model. I could imagine Batman in this.

It is an interesting casting design that has been around for a long time now. It debuted in 1994 and was designed by Bruce Bauer after Ira Gilfords original 1969 Splittin' Image HWs casting. There were 31 mainline casting releases issued until before the last one was distributed in 2012. The 1998 metallic aqua colored version was also a playable car in the the Hot Wheels: Turbo Racing video game. And in several other Hot Wheels video game titles. This one is from the second yaer of production - 1995.
