Here are some photos of my recently completed Space Clipper styrene kit from Moebius Models.
I purchased a photo-etch detail set and some PAN AM aftermarket decals to complement the panel decals included with the kit.
I also added an LED lighting system which illuminates the cockpit and control panels and the passenger cabin.
The photo-etch included figures of the pilots and stewardess as well as Haywood Floyd, seated in the correct seat and the only passenger on board from what we saw on screen.

First, some scenes from the film...

Very nice! The interior looks great.
It looks like the 1st Moebius release with the fat wing?
I know I'm in the minority, but I like the surface decals. They are much more in scale.

Did the filming model have the PanAm on the lower wings? I don't remember seeing them before. They look
like they fit there very nicely.

Yes. This was the first release with the thicker wings. I liked how the panel decals looked too.
The PAN AM names on the lower wings were visible in a photo I found of a 4 foot exact replica of the studio model; I thought they looked right.

Beautiful build.

I should build one of these, I love the design of the Orion. I built one when I was very young, must have been in the early to mid 709s. But after the super hard Wright Flyer and unwieldy Discovery builds last summer and fall I haven't even been in the mood to build the super easy HAL 9000 kit.

They do look correct, If this was the real world I wonder if they would survive a re-entry?
If the photo's are online, can you post a link?

I built that kit a few years ago. Other than the fat wings it is a great kit. I also have the new Moebius kit, the old Airfix kit, and a very old Aurora kit in my stash.

Here’s the link to the photos of the 44” replica. Scroll down to find them:
