I'm curious as to the reaction the cars might have gotten. Did everyone like them or?
Seeing as their are only 60 of them, who here has one?
Glad to see the pics and know that everyone had a great time.

I had one, but some guy jumped out of a box, yelled "hey, laadeee!" and knocked me down and took it.........

I think I may get it back though, right after that I heard a voice proclaim "I'm Lightning!... Johnny Lightning!!! I'll stop him." and with jus a blur of a red helmet, like a lightning bolt he was gone!!!!!

I guess that's one way to find out their market value.

Not trying to offend anyone, as I am sure I would have appreciated the opportunity to obtain one as an authentic thank you. But, isn't it just the same Classic Gold 15 '73 Firebird with a Thank You stamped on the roof?

So for someone to obtain one that did not participate, without it being much different than the original, in fact, it isn't much more desirable to me than the the original, I don't see why people would pay alot for it.

Just my opinion.

The car is great, looks very nice.
#23 is parked next to me. Almost sold it at the Convention, but decided to hang on to it. I thought about how rare it was, and Im a collector to the bone. I really dont sell much if anything. And was kind of thrown off when i got offered to sell it. Eventhough its no mopar, It still will remind me everytime i look at it of how much fun I had this past weekend. Was great to meet everyone and to hang out talking Lightnings.

I guess everything has a price, If I was offered a amount that made me not have to think about it, I would prob sell something of mine that was rare.

Thanks Mark H, for everything, Its people like mark who make This Hobby a Great Thing. Also thanks to everyone else who helped make the fest happen.

Isn't a Black With Flames Camaro White Lightning just a BWF Camaro with gold wheels and white tires?

I'll make it easy for everyone. The one on ebay is 1 of 10 of these cars I have. I've been siting on these for a few months now.
Yes, I am testing the waters to see what the market will bear on these. I'm willing to trade a couple of them.
So far this is the first one on ebay, and I have already gave one away.

As for the just a tampo comment, yeah, it is just CG 15 Firebird with a tampo, but I have a good feeling that you can't just pick one up and go somewhere to get it done. Then make up the cards with their font's etc...

I was ust curious as to how these went over as Mark and I talked about them for a bit. He knew that I would put one or two on ebay. I think we're all a little curious.
Anyway, anyone who has a problem with it or me, feel free to email me off the board. Thanks
:)

I would say not without risking being sued for trademark infringement, maybe

You lost the whole spirit of Fest didn't you. The run was sooooo small PM could not supply 60 of the same casting without major work and months of pre planning (like the PSR cars) so I went to the boards and Chris stepped up big time. I offered him 10 of the cars back, asked him to wait until after Fest and sell a couple to at least re-coop the cost of his contribution so if any person should be rewarded with a nice offer, it is him because without his help, it would not have happened.

Just a tampo? Well isn't that pretty much how anything is done? A color change here and Fest logo there and keep in mind all event cars that people do for shows is done off over runs. Now I can put a Fest tampo on a car but let's see what happens if someone else does. Do you remember what happend the last time someone tried to use the Fest name? It is carded and numbered and each one comes with a signed "Thank You" card so yes, they are VERY different. I suppose you think a white tire on a car is not different as well but most don't agree with you. Since the car fires no desire in your gut you never have to feel bad about not getting one. It was a way for me to show "Thanks", not to increase the value of one's collection.

I must say your reply hit me wrong this morning.
