In purchased a new slash, and it has a noise when im applying power. Im not familiar with Traxxas. The Diff is very smooth and rolls free? Do I need to apply more tension on the slipper??

well, either more tension or less tension, either way will make it sound differnt, also make sure you run it with diff cover off, things get caught in there and tear things up, safer runnin without, as for noise, all that you have told us, sounds like you may have to tighten a bit. what kind of noise is it makeing??

on my slash i held the rear tires with my hands so it wouldnt move,then had my wife give it a short hit on the triger of the radio notice if the front end raises up when giving it power if it does the diff is close to being right on if it doesnt raise up the diff is to lose if its to lose tighten the diff until you see the front end raise up but keep your honds firmly on the rear tires

I agree crank it down, then u don't have to worry about it changing during a race... more finger control....:drunk:

I would crank it down and back off a 1/4 turn. You get it too tight and you might twist your driveline.
