Tested it on Kevin Bacon and it took only three steps:

1. Aurora monsters are seen in Salem's Lot starring Lance Kerwin.

2. Lance Kerwin appeared in Outbreak, which also featured Donald Sutherland.

3. Donald Sutherland was in JFK, as was Kevin Bacon.

Now somebody do...oh, I don't know...Oscar Wilde.

Um, I don't think anybody on this forum wants to do Oscar Wilde.
...not that there's anything wrong with that...

1. Oscar Wilde died in Paris.

2. Paris is the home of Notre Dame Cathedral.

3. Aurora's seventh monster kit was The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Someone do Britt Ekland!

(Ba dum, dump! CHING! :D )

I did Britt Ekland back in '74. It wasn't that good, believe it or not.

1. Ok. Britt Ekland appeared as Kal-El's mother Lara in two episodes of the syndicated Superboy series in 1990.

2. Aurora issued a Superboy kit in 1965.

I don't like the way this turned out...

1.) I never touched Britt Ekland.

2.) I never saw her in the Superboy series.

3.) I do have my old "Comic Scenes" Superboy kit.

4.) It's one of several unfinished model projects I have started.

5.) All those projects will probably keep me from ever getting my hands on a Wicker Man kit.

6.) I never touched Britt Ekland.

Britt Ekland was married to Peter Sellers.

Peter Sellers starred in Dr. Strangelove, which was directed by Stanley Kubrick.

Stanely Kubrick went on to direct 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Aurora made model kits of the Moonbus and Orion shuttle from that movie.

I mean, it's so freakin' obvious . . .

Dang, you did Britt Ekland in two moves!

Hope you're not that fast with all the ladies. :D

Seriously, tho, that was good. I had forgotten about the Superboy kit (what I get for not being a figure builder, I guess).

And I completely spaced the 2001 connection as well, Scott! Good on both of ya fellas!

BTW, prop's to Mark for his funny!

Now, someone else call a new name already! I'm no good at this game, but it's fun watching those who are come up with the connections. It's almost like an art form. :)

Oh, man. Even *I* can do that one! All I gots to do is use frankenstyrene's post that started it all.

1. Kyra Sedgewick is married to Kevin Bacon and was even in the movie Murder In The First.

2. Kevin Bacon starred with Donald Sutherland in JFK.

3. Lance Kerwin appeared in Outbreak, which also featured Donald Sutherland.

4. Lance Kerwin was in 'Salem's Lot, which featured his character building some Aurora monsters.

Now, if *I* can do it it's just too easy. :)

Yeah. But you just got an "F" for plagiarism.

Ok, speaking of JFK, howabout Joe Pesci?

Actually I had in mind movie or TV appearances of Aurora kits, which as far as I know narrows it down to just Salem's Lot. If anyone knows of other "A" sightings on film, do tell.

Anyway, Britt Ekland?

1. She was in The Wicker Man with Christopher Lee.

2. Lee was The Man With the Golden Gun with Roger Moore as Bond.

3. Aurora did a Bond kit.

Too easy, let's try again...

1. She was in The Wicker Man with Christopher Lee.

2. Lee was in House That Dripped Blood with Denholm Elliott.

3. Elliott did Vault of Horror with Tom Baker.

4. Baker was in Frankenstein: The True Story with David McCallum.

5. McCallum did Return of the Man From UNCLE with Geoffrey Lewis.

6. Lewis was in Salem's Lot.

Ergo, from this we may deduce that while on The Wicker Man's set, lovely Britt worked on Aurora's Anzio Beach kit during breaks in filming the nude butt-smacking dance. That's what I read somewhere on the Net anyway, and we all know it's against the law to lie on the Net.

You missed one, frank, re: Britt Ekland. Yes, she was in The Wicker Man with Christopher Lee.

1.) Lee was in The House That Dripped Blood with Denholm Elliott.

2.) Elliott did Vault of Horror with Tom Baker.

3.) Baker was in Frankenstein: The True Story with David McCallum.

4.) McCallum was a regular on The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

5.) Aurora made an Ilya Kuryakin (McCallum) Man From U.N.C.L.E. kit.

6.) I never did Britt Ekland.

Whaddabout Joe Pesci!? Ok, here we go (keeping Frank's Aurora movie appearance rule).

1.Joe Pesci was in Goodfellas.

2. Goodfellas was directed by Martin Scorsese.

3. Scorsese directed another film called Raging Bull.

4. Raging Bull starred Cathy Moriarty as Vickie LaMotta.

5. Cathy Moriarty co-starred with John Goodman in Matinee.

6. Matinee features several scenes with Aurora monster kits.

Good one! Tho I have to take your word for it on the appearance of the kits - I have Matinee on VHS and watched it last month, but couldn't for the life of me spot any kits (not having a remote and being too lazy to get up and pause the thing doesn't help). Need to find the DVD, I really liked that flick.

Alternate route:

1. Britt and Edward Woodward
2. Woodward was The Equalizer
3. John Goodman guested on an ep
4. Goodman, Matinee, Aurora

or

1. Britt/Woodward
2. Woodward/Laurence Olivier (in something called Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
3. Olivier/James Mason in Boys from Brazil
4. Mason is Straker in Salem's Lot.

See? SEE!? Aurora is into EVERYTHING, man! Open your eyes, people, they're EVERYWHERE! Somebody get Oliver Stone a line of blow and a typewriter!
