I had to have that winged benzo! So I went to the only place I know there are some siku left. There it was - I bought two of them and a motor scooter also by siku. They had some p/u /Mercedes and a couple of other cars but I only wanted that winged benzo -hot! Glad I saw it here- otherwise I wouldn't have any at all!
Grrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!! Siku is no longer avalible in the usa!! Because astm regulations have gotten stricter! I used to go to toy chest in north conway new hampshire to buy siku. Every online siku dealer is quickly running out of stock!!
With SIKU it's a bit tricky, I think. Sometimes they get it, sometimes they don't. Here in New Zealand they are about 3 times as expensive as Matchbox or Hot Wheels, so I would expect a more collector focused quality level. The red Beetle for example isn't quite there in my opinion. The gap in the door of the Porsche police car shouldn't be there either. But I like the black and red...is that a Wiesmann GT? The Karmann Ghia and the red Porsche look pretty nice too.
The red beetle is an older issue (see the wheels) as is the dark blue Mercedes, the racing Golf and the silver Porsche.
And I think you mean the Bugatti Veyron.
I feel like the newest Siku's are really good. A shame that the stores here don't get new models.
Here are a couple of Sikus I got recently. Since my collection is all around 1:64, I'm quite choosy about Siku. But I agree some of the models are quite good.
Siku - its good for the european collector thats they are not available in each country - so we had some Tradestuff to get the good Goodies from the other DiecastCompanys which are not available in germany / europe
