The 2012 Short Course Nationwide*Tour rolled into Omaha, Nebraska for round number five. The racers were greeted with a beautiful facility, enormous hobby shop, and excellent track layout. The racing was intense all weekend long throughout all of the classes. Venom/Atomik team driver Mike Garrison took the TQ spot in the SCB Spec class with a box stock Losi XXX-SCB RTR and the only 11 lap run of the buggy class. When it came down to the 7 minute main event, it was a start to finish win for Mike Garrison and his RTR vehicle. In addition to SCB, Garrison also entered the Modified Pro4 class running a Losi SCTE. With the unique Short Course Showdown heads up qualifying it was a back and forth battle between Fischer, Timmerman, Sturgeon, Garrison, Kinwald, and*Tollard each round. Taking the fastest time Billy Fischer would TQ with TLR teammates close behind. In the single A-main, Billy Fischer would run away with the win.
