Located in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, SCMs first castings were retooled and enhanced ERTL Chevy Monte Carlo stock car models from the 1980s.

In the 1990s, they produced white metal kit castings that were rather plain. (As any NASCAR body is without their #s and sponsership logos.) But, really popped when their intricate decals were applied.

Aound the early 2000s, it was thought that Funstuf & Co had purchased SCM, but no further castings or kits have been put forth to date by either company.
