Schylling was originally located in Ipswich, Massachusetts and was established as a toy distributor.

In the early 1980s, they issued their "Collector Series" that included the USN Air Ship Los Angeles. It was also a pencil sharpener.

In the 1990s., they were now located in Salem, Massachusetts and offered 2 different VWs made by Kerico that functioned as key chains.

In the early 2000s, they were marketing Kinsmart pull back cars.
