I'm sure going to miss ol' Benny. He was so good for the sport. Nobody in the garage is quite as friendly. Heck of a racecar driver too - the first guy to ever qualify a stock car at over 200 mph. That's a milestone record that's his alone - forever.
I met him at the Talladega Hall of Fame a few years ago. Had a real nice chat with him. He was just so personable - with a nobody like me. Sad.
