Been using brushless for almost 2 yrs now. I agree 100% with pmsimkins.....Once a season is plenty. I also run the 5800 brushless motor in a B4 buggy for our buggy class. It's 2 years old and nothing has been changed on it and it's still very fast..using the original SS ESC too. The only thing I do is oil the bearings about once a month.
