On this All Hallows Eve, I would mention to take extra care of the wee-ones if out haunting for treats. Think of the ghouls and (b)witches we deal with everyday...they double-up on you, tonight.
-ROTH'S MYSTERION-
I've already posted this on the JL board--but that was two years ago.
This is the most recent die-cast I've modified (more than paint/detail) to date.
As most of you know, the stance of the original was more suited to the Rubicon than street cruising. I loved the car but hated the way it sat, so I lowered it all around and added some paint to the bubble top and detailed the chassis/engines. I also paint-matched and polished the front cowl. Johnny left this as raw metal, which was inexcusable--because that's 25% of the body. The wheels aren't the same as the1/1 car but they look better that the originals and the rears are actually pretty close. The rear rims are vintage Tyco-Pro slot car wheels. The front rubber
is original Aurora slot car and about 40 years old!
